Lineage
The lineage transmission of Living Buddha Lian-sheng.
01 — Empty-Sky Transmission
Prophesied by Shakyamuni Buddha; entrusted by Amitabha Buddha; crowned with the red crown by Maitreya Bodhisattva; given the esoteric Dharma by Padmasambhava (the Nyingma Great Perfection empowerment and the Acharya empowerment) — bestowing the “Great Perfection.”
02 — Direct Transmission
Dharmakaya Buddha Vajradhara — Tilopa — Naropa — Marpa — Milarepa — Gampopa.
03 — Indirect Transmission
The 16th Gyalwa Karmapa, Rangjung Rigpe Dorje.
04 — Source and Foundation
Mahavairocana — Buddha-Locani (Buddha-Eye Mother) — Padmakumara (the Lotus Child) — Living Buddha Lian-sheng.
05 — Transmission in the Human World — the Four Esoteric Schools
In this world Living Buddha Lian-sheng holds the transmission of all four great esoteric schools:
Kagyu (White) — the 16th Gyalwa Karmapa: the empowerment of the Five-Buddha Crown and the Great Secret Empowerment, bestowing Mahamudra.
Gelug (Yellow) — Master Thubten Dargye: gave the vajra bell and dorje, bestowing the Yamantaka practice.
Sakya (Flower) — Lama Sakya Zhengkong: bestowed the Great-Perfection Victorious-Wisdom practice and many empowerments.
Nyingma (Red) — the monk Liaoming: taught the Daoist arts, talismans, geomancy and the esoteric Dharma.
